Last weekend, Ben played the part of a stuck up, snooty lord in Missoula Children's Theater's performance of Cinderella. Auditions were held Monday, and he spent every evening practicing at the school. Ben's new school has a lot of drawbacks--it's older, more run-down, and in a scarier part of town, but the kids there really have a lot of personality! Also, only half as many children tried out at his school, so every child got a part. (Rachel tried out at her school for the same play a couple of months ago and was devastated when she didn't get a part!)
Steven and Rachel had a great time watching the play. They giggled as Ben had to DANCE with a girl during the ball scene. I threatened them with their lives not to tease him! I know Steven didn't tease him because he knew Ben would come up with his own "ammo" teasing Steven about girls he has a crush on! (It was the same week as Valentine's Day.)
Ironically, Cinderella is the same Missoula Children's Theater play that my sister, Shannon, was in when she was in elementary school in Drummond, MT. Oh, the memories---"Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie!"

Oh so fun! I loved the Cinderella play! That pumpkin pie song will be stuck in my head all day now...thanks a lot :) Oh, and Natalie was in that play too. :)
Ben, you are a stud! I wish I could have been there to witness that in person!
How fun. Good for you, Ben!
